11 people injured in skydiving plane crash in Gloucester County
There were 15 people on the plane when it "went off the runway while departing" Cross Keys Airport around 5:30 p.m., the FAA said.

At least 11 people were injured — three of them seriously — after a small skydiving plane crashed early Wednesday evening at Cross Keys Airport in Gloucester County, officials said.
The Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement that a Cessna 208B “went off the runway while departing” the airport around 5:30 p.m.
There were 15 people on board the skydiving plane, said the FAA, which is investigating the crash.
All 15 people were transported to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, with three being admitted for trauma injuries, and eight with minor injuries, said Wendy Marano, spokesperson for the hospital.
The remaining four people were being evaluated, she said.
A trauma doctor with Cooper who lives near the airport, which is known for skydiving flights, was at the scene to assist the first responders, Marano said.
Gregory Wolfe, the mayor of Monroe Township, posted an update Wednesday night on Facebook that said the plane departed the airport “and was immediately attempting to return to the airport when it crashed into a wooded area.”
